Dam to lot 14: KNS Dorflein EX-91 (s. Defender)
Tomorrow, the 47th edition of the International Osnabrücker Schwarzbunt-Tage will take place. One of the highlights of the day is the Top-Genetik Auction, featuring nearly 30 selected lots. KNS Holsteins is once again presenting an outstanding lot from its own herd: KNS Dorfröschen. This heifer is backed by no fewer than three generations of EX!
This is lot 14 – KNS Dorfröschen, a very promising yearling and a daughter of the outstanding type sire Stantons Chief. She traces directly to the EX-91 Defender daughter KNS Dorflein. This seventh-calving cow has a lifetime production exceeding 75,000 kg of milk with high components and was successfully shown during the 2024 OHG Schwarzbunt-Tage.
Three consecutive dams in this family have all been classified EX, with an average score of EX-92 and an average udder score of well over EX-92. The granddam of the offered Chief daughter is the internationally renowned KNS Dorflady EX-92. Remarkably, this famous Ramos daughter and her full sister Darling EX-93 both won the Schwarzbunt-Tage. From Dorflady EX-92 also comes the excellent Dempsey daughter KNS Dornröschen, the dam of two highly successful German show cows that have earned multiple titles in the show ring: OHB Dream EX-93 by Atwood and OHB Daria by Crushtime, class winner at the GDS 2023.

The offer of the annual Top Genetik Auktion, organized by the OHG, consists of nearly 30 carefully selected lots. This live online sale will take place on Saturday, 31 January, starting at 2:15 PM. The day begins with the annual OHG Holstein Show. This event will also be for the most part accessible via livestream.
