After purchasing Sanderij Rita's Romy P RDC during the 2022 GenHotel Selection Sale, her new owners from Diepenhoek Holsteins successfully used her polled and red factor genes through a series of flushes. This led to the birth of several offspring, allowing the Dutch Rita cow family to expand.
Romy P RDC stood out with a remarkable 155 gRZG, making her a interesting Dutch Star P RDC daughter. With her strong lineage from the esteemed bull breeding cow family of Willem's Hoeve Rita, the Adriaans family recognized her invaluable qualities and sought to integrate them into their breeding program. Notably, her dam, Poppe Red Hot Rita 9033 Red, served as a successful donor for De Sanderij, producing great offspring, including the De Sanderij RUW Matrix-Red @RUW, which was exported as an embryo to Germany. This striking red sire achieved remarkable success, debuting as the sixth-highest genomics bull in Germany with an impressive 159 gRZG as in august of 2022!
