Aalshorst Geertje 77 Red VG-87 (s. Classic), family member of the Geertjes
During the recent semi-annual herd classifcation at Aalshorst Holsteins, a great number of dairy cows were (re)classified. Here some results below.
The highest re-classification was for the 5th calver Aalshorst K&L Fina 3 (Finder x K&L SH Fina VG-87), which increased her score to VG-88 with VG-89 DS. As an embryo, Fina 3 was purchased by the Scholten family through the 3STAR Embryo Program. Her dam is the proven K&L SH Fina, a VG-87 Supershot and maternal-sister of the bull Melview (by Missouri). Fina 3 goes back to the well-known show and brood cow Windy-Knoll-View Promis EX-95 and is the 7th generation in a row with a score of VG or EX.

Out of the Aalshorst Geertjes, the family of sires Aalshorst Pleasure, Aalshorst Balaton, Aalshorst Special & Aalshorst Mads, Tirsvad Match P daughter Aalshorst Geertje 301 Red was good for VG-86 in her third lactation. The same cow family also put Aalshorst Geertje 340 RDC in the spotlight. The first calver Delta Winstar-Red daughter comes from Aalshorst Geertje 240 RDC VG-85, which has been flushed several times by the Scholten family.
At Aalshorst Holsteins, offspring from the family of Ralma Juror Faith EX-91 are also being milked, including Aalshorst Goli Flower 8, which was scored for the first time. This Mars Laurent RDC daughter goes via x VG-88 Multiplayer x VG-85 Doorman back to the well-known brood cow and dam of Bouw Rocky: Bouw Goli Flower VG-87. She was scored this day VG-85.

Another result from the 3STAR Embryo Program in the herd of the Scholten family is Aalshorst 3STAR Konzert 3 Red (Star P RDC x Aalshorst 3STAR Konzert 1 Red). Her full brothers Aalshorst 3STAR Sandor P Red and Aalshorst 3STAR Skipper P Red have been purchased by AI organisations Cogent & VOST. The late-maturing Konzert 3 Red received GP-84 with VG-87 Udder. Her granddam is the beautiful K&L SK Konzert Red VG-89!
