De Wijde Blik Holsteins celebrates high classifications
De Wijde Blik Jolein 11, third lactation AltaRoble daughter
We have received some great news about a recent classification at De Wijde Blik. The third calver, De Wijde Blik Jolein 11, has improved her score. Also, a first lactation King Doc offspring of Miss Apple-Snapple Red EX-96 has received a great first score.
De Wijde Blik Jolein 11 is a third calver Lone-Oak-Acres AltaRoble daughter. She was classified again last week and was given a score of VG-89, with EX-90 for her Dairy Strength. Jolein 11's dam is a VG-89 Big Malki daughter. She's still at De Wijde Blik with five calves. Her dam De Wijde Blik Jolein 7 VG-89 was successful in the show ring in 2022, where she was named Res. Senior Champion at the Bissende Koe. Furthermore, Jolein 11's granddam, De Wijde Blik Jolein 5 EX-90 (by Moonboy), has also won some notable show titles, including Honorable Mention 2-Yr-Old Wintershow Zwolle 2017 and Junior Champion & Bissende Koe 2017.

From VOST Select Sale 2019's purchase Windlooper Arizona (by Apple-Crisp RDC), the Nijman family has bred, in partnership with GenHotel, Woodcrest King Doc daughter De Wijde Blik 3STAR Arizona. In September of 2023, she calved from a Delta Pianist-Red heifer calf for the first time and still produces about 34 kgM per day. Via Apple-Crisp RDC x EX-90 Olympian RDC, Arizona tracks back to the world-famous Redburst daughter of Apple Red EX-96, namely Miss Apple Snapple-Red EX-96! During the classification, she was scored VG-87 with maximum scores of VG-89 for her Frame & Dairy Strength. We hope to see more of this promising young Apple descendant in the near future!
