Nice round of scores for Holbra Holsteins
Holbra Latoya 1 now EX-90
Holbra Holsteins, which is owned by the Holmer family, recently hosted a herdbook classifier to classify a group of dairy cows and 2-yr-olds. The visit resulted in some impressive results, including VG scores and a rescored excellent cow.
Two of the 2-yr-olds, Holbra Malon 34 and Holbra Halina 3, both received an outstanding VG-87 score. Holbra Malon 34 is a Delta Nippon P daughter and is a direct daughter of Holbra Malon 9 VG-88, a Board daughter who has produced many successful offspring, including Holbra Malon 16 VG-87 (s. Hartley), who has a son at KI Samen. The Malon branch goes via Holbra Pam VG-87 back to Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence. The other VG-87 points scored cow is Holbra Halina 3. She is a young, fantastic producing Renegade which goes back to Cookiecutter MOM Halo VG-88, who was named Holstein International Global Cow of the Year in 2019. Recently, Holbra Halina 3 won the Junior B&W Reserve Championship at the Fokveeshow Lochem.

Second calver Holbra Joy 5, a Wilder Hulk P daughter and full sister of top sire Holbra Escope SG @Swissgenetics (top 25 gISET 4-2023), received a VG-86 score. Their dam is the well-known brood cow Holbra Joy 1 VG-88, who is also a full sister of two-times Res. Intermediate Champion Bathmen/Laren Holbra Joy 2 VG-89.

The seventh calver Holbra Lathoya 1, by Paradise, upgraded her score to an impressive EX-90! Lathoya's dam is a VG-85 Lauthority sister of Holbra Atwood Patty VG-88. Patty was sold as an embryo by Holmer to a German breeder. Patty grew into the dam of two daughters which have both won the title "Miss Ostfriesland": Odyssey Princes EX-93 (2017) and Pamela VG-87 (2024). Lathoya 1 classified EX-91 FR, EX-92 TY, EX-90 MS VG-86 FL - TOT EX-90. At the recent Fokveeshow Lochem, the Mark Prudence offspring took second place in her class.
