3STAR Kanucy Red (s. Percey Red)
3STAR Genetics breeding result 3STAR Kanucy Red BB A2A2 was flushed as a heifer with six different sires. The RR Percey-Red daughter has just freshened and has already produced 30 offspring before her first calving. Her first daughters are now entering the flush program.
The well-known Wilder Kanu 111 RDC VG-88 cow family, originating from the Wilder Holsteins herd, has quickly spread out all over Europe in recent years and has delivered great results from a genetic point of view with numerous (proven) bulls which have gone to global AI stations. The success of this line in the Netherlands started with the purchase of Silky-Red embryos from Wilder Konzert RDC, from which the full sisters K&L SK Konzert Red VG-88 and K&L SK Kontiki Red VG-85 were born. Both cows were fully used as embryo donors for the 3STAR Breeding Program, scored with nice VG scores and are currently in their third lactation.
Kontiki Red VG-85 produced the flawless scoring Kanucy Red. Not only on gRZG, gTPI and gNVI base did the Percey-Red daughter bring good total indexes, but also on gISET and gICO the Kanu 111 RDC offspring scored promisingly. Embryo contracts were made by German AI's and Kanucy Red was also used extensively for the own 3STAR Embryo Program. Top scoring daughters such as 3STAR Karucy Red (153 gRZG), 3STAR Karoma Red with 150 gRZG/1549 gISET which was sold during the VOST Select Sale 10 and the recent flushed Buiteneind 3STAR Kandy Red (147 gRZG) were bred from her.
The recently calved 3STAR Kanucy Red started her lactation well and is projected at 10,344 kgsM with 4.41% fat and 3.55% protein! You too can invest in the genes of this very successful cow family.
