New genomic highlight: 3STAR Amber 6000 PP RDC

Tirsvad 3STAR Aloha PP RDC VG-85, granddam to Amber 6000 PP RDC
The genetically outstanding descendants of top bull dam and influential breeding cow Amber PP Red VG-86 continue to emerge at an impressive pace. Over the past years, the impact of Amber’s genetics on her offspring has proven to be truly remarkable. Once again, a highly ranked great-granddaughter presents herself: 3STAR Amber 6000 PP RDC, a daughter of HaS Strand PP Red, jointly owned by Brugman and GenHotel.
With an outstanding 154 gRZG, 3STAR Amber 6000 PP RDC is not only the highest tested homozygous polled descendant of her sire Strand PP Red, but also ranks among the absolute top homozygous polled females with red factor on the German index. Her genomic profile based on RZG shows a strong overall performance, including high milk production, a longevity score of 128 gRZN, 126 gZGes, 123 EUT, and a total type score of 120 gRZE.
Amber 6000 PP RDC also excels on the Dutch/Flemish index. With a score of 448 gNVI, she currently ranks as the number 4 highest tested B&W heifer calf. Additionally, the Strand PP Red daughter records impressive figures with 2949 kg milk, 608 INET, 111 CGT, 1108 LVD, 108 fertility, and 111 udder health.
This strong genetic foundation is no coincidence. Her dam, 3STAR Amber 5656 PP RDC (by Skat P RDC), was also among the highest ranked heifer calves based on RZG in her time and was therefore intensively used as a donor within the 3STAR Embryo Program. This resulted in more than 40 produced embryos, from which the first offspring are now being born.
