Holbra Holsteins successful at Show Bathmen – Laren

Holbra Holsteins was very successful this weekend at the Fokveedag Laren – Bathmen, a local show in the Netherlands. With 2 Champions, 2 Reserve Champions, Champion group milking heifers and best herd-group they were among the most successful exhibitors of the show.

Holbra Holsteins had both the Junior 2-Yr Old Champion and the Reserve Junior 2-Yr Old in their string. Holbra Lathoya 1 (Paradise x Lauthority x Holbra Bolton Paulona), the Junior 2-Yr Old from the Fokveeshow Lochem 2017, was named Champion. She placed over herd mate Holbra Xanti (Tapic x HS Excitement) because of her better mammary system. Lathoya 1 and Xanti were also part of the winning 2-Yr old group of Holbra Holsteins.

Holbra Chica

Holbra Chica looked stunning. This 3rd lactation Gold Chip daughter of Holbra Bolton Paulona looked better than ever and she was an easy Senior Champion. The Reserve Champion was Soetten Botter Paris 4 owned by Gerrit Jan Klein Teselink. Paris 4 placed over Holbra Mika, this Sudan daughter of Holbra Holsteins was named Honourable Mention.
The herdgroup of Holbra Holsteins, with Holbra Chica leading the group, followed by Holbra Mika and the Junior Champions, was named best group of the show.

Holbra Ella 1

Holbra Ella 1 was present for the 6th consecutive year. The 8-Yr Old Savard daughter started her showcarrier in 2012 with the Junior 2-Yr Old title. Then she was named Reserve Intermediate Champion in 2013 & 2014 followed by the Reserve Senior Champion title in 2015. Last year (2016) she was named Senior Champion and this year she was named Reserve Senior Champion of the R&W show.
Talentino daughter Holbra Sien 2 just missed the Champion titles. She was named Honourable Mention after placing first in her class.
