Caudumer Hinke 220, Grand Champion Kokedei 2015
Cows and heifers from the Caudumer herd dominated at the “Kokedei 2015”, a local show in Workum, the Netherlands. Several champions and reserve champions are owned by Caudumer Holsteins. Offcourse the Grand Champion and the best herd collection where won by Caudumer Holsteins. A total of 11 animals from the Caudumer herd was present in Workum. 6 cows (5x 1st place, 1x 2nd) and 5 heifers (3x 1st, 1x 2nd and 1x 3rd).
Several of the animals that participated at the show have very good (genomic) breeding values as well. The combination of great type and high genomic proofs makes the herd of Caudumer Holsteins one of the most attractive herds in Europe.
Dams & daughters
The Grand Champion title was won by last year’s junior 2-yr old champion; Caudumer Hinke 220. The Mr Savage daughters was in the class with young cows too strong for herdmate Caudumer Hinke 199 (Destry), the junior 2-yr old champion from 2013. Daughters of Hinke 220 and Hinke 199 divided the titles in the young calves class. Caudumer Hinke 277, an Aikman of Hinke 220, was named champion and Caudumer Hinke 279, a Camion of Hinke 199, was reserve.
