Well performing cow families at Hedra Holsteins

Hedra Lize 665 RDC VG-88 (by Classic)

During the classification day at Hedra Holsteins, the classification scores varied between 84 and 88 points! On average, the 2-year-olds scored VG-85.5. In the group of the scored cows we find various represented well-known cow families!

Best scored 2-yr-old of the day is Hedra Lou Etta 1247, classified VG-87 (VG-88 MS). She's a Double W Ranger, which traces via JK Eder Eugenie VG-87 back to Walkup Astronaut Lou Ann EX-94. Several international sires have been bred from this cow family, including Mascol, V Eaton and Lord Lily.

The Elagaaster Janke family at Hedra Holsteins is still increasing, which makes it a prominent cow family in the herd of the Vernooij family. Hedra Janke 1179 proved herself by scoring VG-86. The Zandenburg Fury daughter descends via VG-85 Regard x VG-85 Snowfever x GP-83 Aswin from the influential donor and multiple bull dam Elagaaster Janke 264 VG-88 (s. Jordan). 

Also in the list of results we find the first calver Hedra Riedel 1192 (by Delta Lendor) with VG-86 and VG-87 for Mammary. Riedel 1192 VG-86 is a granddaughter of Delta Rora VG-87, dam of the top proven sire Delta Treasure (by Bouw Finder). This makes the dam of this VG-87 Lendor the full sister of Treasure.

The home-bred Hedra Lize family delivered a great classification score of VG-88. This score went to the fourth lactation Caudumer Powerplay P-daughter Hedra Lize 593 P RDC. She is a direct daughter of the great brood cow Hedra Lize 665 RDC VG-88 (by Classic).
