Hurkmans ET, one of the members of GenHotel, purchased Samira Red P [also Kappa Casein BB], a 155 gRZG testing RUW Sea P Red daughter during the Highlight Sale in January. Samira is one of the highest polled Sea P Red daughters in Europe, based on her 155 gRZG.
Samira Red P's pedigree is lead by foundation cow Apina Massia 21 EX-90, dam of the well-known proven Apina Curtis. In addition, she is also the foundation behind brood cows Sanderij Massia Sneeuwwitje RDC VG-89 (dam of Sanderij Payback Red) and Sanderij Fidel Massia VG-87, which bred the daughter proven sire Sanderij Sodan Red.
The third dam of Hurkmans' newest purchase is Sanderij Riva's Smile RDC. Her flush with Mr Salvatore RC produced two daughters: Sanderij Massia Sabia Red VG-85, granddam of Samira, and Sanderij Massia Saskia Red VG-87, dam of progeny proven Sanderij Ginger Red! This very strong bull dam family also produces a high amount of fat and protein. In addition to her total index of 155 gRZG, Samira also tests 154 gRZM, 117 gRZN and 117 FUN. In addition, she scores a nice 317 gNVI (unofficial) which makes her a great addition to Hurkmans' breeding program.
