Invest in the Massia family at the K&L Selection S

The Massia family is one of the most popular and successful cowfamilies in the Netherlands. Back in the days that "INET was the main index in the Netherlands it was the Massia family that dominated the rankings. In the last 20 years a lot of things have changed in the Holstein industry. INET is now only part of the total index NVI, which also includes longevity, fertility, cellcount and conformation. One thing has not changed: The Massia family still breeds high female members and proven bulls.

Lot 9: Midwolder Massia 71-Red
Lot 9, Midwolder Massia 71-Red, is a very fancy red Fontoy daughter of Midwolder Massia 25 VG-85. Massia 71 scores +270 GNVI and +147 GRZG and she has an almost faultless genomic proof in both systems. Her dam is a daughter of Beukenhof 346 Ideal. Who happens to come from the same, but a different maternal line, of the Massia family. Granddam is Starkenborg PS Massia 2 RC VG-86, a Shottle daughter of Apina Massia 21 EX-90 (Lentini x Apina Massia 14). Massia 2 is also the dam of Starkenborg Vidar (Spencer), the current #2 NVI bull (daughter proven).

Lot 13: Wilder Brekem M73-Red
Wilder Brekem M73-Red (+144 GRZG) hails from the Massia-dynasty as well. Her granddam is Apina Massia 102 RC EX-90, a full sister to the granddam of Massia 71-Red. Dam of M73-Red is Sanderij Massia Sneeuwwitje, a high producing with VG-86 classified Snowman daughter that already has several sons in AI. This maternalline of the Massia family shows excellent results (read high genomics) and is starting to get more and more popular.
