First Wintershow brought success for GenHotel-members

During one of the first local dairy shows, members De Rith HolsteinsOostvogels VOF and Southland Holsteins competed for the big titles. The success came early this day during the first Dutch local Winter show of 2023. Now that many shows have to be canceled due to IBR, we take an extra moment to extensively enjoy this success.

In the youngest category of 2-yr-olds, the Riverdown Unstopabull daughter Adina 5 RDC, owned by Oostvogels, took the lead. The red factor MS Kingstead Chief Adeen EX-94 offspring calved in mid-December and already managed to perform well during this day.

Herdmate JK E Cindere 15, a VG-88 Mr Danielle Devour from the Hanoverhill Tony Rae family, also struck. From this powerful milking 2-yr-old Oostvogels bred a Woodcrest King Doc daughter and now owns several generations from the Dutch Giessen Cinderella line of Rae EX-96. Like Adina, Cindere 15 VG-88 also took the lead in the class.

Van Beek made waves with their first lactation Croteau Lesperron Unix, De Rith Nova Emblem 30 VG-88. After the success at the Holland Holstein sHow back in November 2022, where Nova Emblem 30 managed to achieve a 2nd place, the VG-88 Unix was now in top condition again for this winter show. After made a class victory, De Rith Nova Emblem 30 was named Junior Champion of Etten Leur 2023 and the Honorable Mention title was for the 2-yr-old Unstopabull from Oostvogels.

Among the intermediate class, the Van Beek-Peeters family of De Rith Holsteins once again came to several highlights. From the same UFM-Dubs Sam Erin EX-90 cow family, Van Beek also showed the third calver De Rith Nova Emblem 17 EX-90. This powerhouse was recently classified with EX-90, shortly before the AOT Silver Helix daughter could be presented to the public and took the lead in her class. Van Beek-Peters also brought a very strong participant for the middle class from the Willem's-Hoeve Rita's. The second lactation De Belhoeve Rita 8 VG-88, Cookiecutter Humblenkind x EX-90 S-S-I Montross Jedi, came to a second place in her class and was named Honorable mention in the championship.
