De Wijde Blik Corrie 679 Red hits another milestone with MAX VG-89!

Recently you could already read that the Champion and Reserve Champion Junior 2-yr-olds of the Dutch local show Bissende Koe 2023 came from the same herd, namely that of De Wijde Blik Holsteins. Since the first score of these two Kenmore Triple Crown-Red daughters in April this year, both young cows have been able to go through an amazing development. All the more reason for the Nijman family to invite the Dutch herdbook's classifier again.

De Wijde Blik Corrie 679 Red, the Junior 2-yr-old Champion, is a Crown-Red daughter from Nijman's well-known Ralstorm RDC daughter De Wijde Blik Corrie 41 Red VG-89, with a lifetime production of 94,593 kgs of milk and 7454 kgs of fat + protein. After her re-classification last week, Corrie 679 Red can name herself the next VG-89 cow in line! This makes her the first and only VG-89 daughter of the American R&W sire Crown-Red in the Netherlands with this high score and gives De Wijde Blik another fantastic highlight within their big passion for breeding!

Also herdmate De Wijde Blik Mariegold 6a (Crown-Red x VG-86 Dalman) - Champion Video Contest of Ommen 2023 and Reserve Champion Junior 2-yr-olds Bissende Koe 2023 - not only brings De Wijde Blik's conformation status to a higher level, but also produces 17% above herd average with 10,882 kgsM 4.29% fat and 3.54% protein over 305 days! Mariegold 6a's re-classification brought her a score improvement in udder and a new total score of VG-88.
