Barendonk Holsteins is well known for their super Red cows. Everyone knows the Brasilera, Emma and Wilma cowfamilies. The Paulina cowfamily is getting more and more attention as well!

At the two Dutch National Shows we could all enjoy the great Fraiko daighter Barendonk Paulina 188- Red, who was classified with the maximum score of VG-89 recently! She was Reserve Junior Champion at both shows. But also Barendonk Paulina 117 (Jasper) was 1st in her class at the NRM in 2010 and was honorable mention!
Bulldams
The Paulina's have more qualities! Cows from this family are very popular at AI's. It started with Barendonk Paulina 113 VG-89 (Talent) and her daughter Paulina 139 VG-88 (Award) was heavily contracted. Paulina 139 has several sons in AI and many of her daughters have been contracted for bulls and embryos.
Today the bull Barendonk Prestige is one to watch! Prestige is the highest type red bull in the top 100 gNVI! He is the no. 11 gNVI bull at +302 gNVI and +114 type. Furthermore Prestige is the No. 1 Red Type bull in Germany at RZE 141 (with also a great total index of RZG 144)! Prestige his dam is Barendonk Paulina 187 RDC, sired by one of the best proven bulls Brekem RDC. Paulina 187 was classified VG-87 and made a 1st lactation with 3.80 % protein! Both Paulina 187 RDC and her dam Paulina 153 (Chanel x Paulina 139) are fresh again. Paulina 187 calved a few days ago and Paulina 153 is fresh since May 31. She had one milktest at 55.5kgM, so beside the great type this family knows how to milk!
Paulina 187 RDC has a very high red carrier Finder daughter at +332 gNVI and 112 type (B&W base): She will be the next interesting bulldam out of the Paulina family!
