5 generations Jacoba's at the Stouwdamshof

The Jacoba family, owned by the van t Hof family (Stouwdamshof), has proven herself as an excellent cow family. The Jacoba's are cows with longevity, high productions and excellent type. Several members of this family have proven this over the past years and the van t Hof family has celebrated many show successes with the Jacoba family.

5 generations and high genomics
Not very often you will find a cow family that has 5 generations present in a herd. The Van t Hof family has achieved this with their Jacoba family. Stouwdamshof Jacoba 127, a Polled Kanu P daughter, is the 5th generation of this family at the Stouwdamshof.
The fact that Jacoba 127 also has a very high genomic breeding value makes this even more valuable. In Germany she scores +146 GRZG and herewith she is among the highest Polled animals. Her dam is Stouwdamshof Jacoba 86, a VG-86 Fidelity daughter of Stouwdamshof Jacoba 59 VG-88 (Mr. Burns). Great-granddam is Stouwdamshof Jacoba 31 VG-89, a Stadel daughter of Stouwdamshof Jacoba 15 EX-90, a 15 year old Rudolph daughter.

100.000 kg milk and All Holland Dairy Show
Rudolph daughter Jacoba 15 EX-90 deserves special attention. She will be shown at the All Holland Dairy Show in the class with cows that have produced 100.000 kg of milk. Her Stadel half-sister, Stouwdamshof Jacoba 19 EX-90, will also appear in this class. Dam of those two cows is Stouwdamshof Jacoba 8 (v. Liza's Caveman), the Grand Champion of the All Holland Dairy Show in 2002. She eventually became 17 (!!) years old en her lifetime production is 118.123 kg of milk with 4.13% fat and 3.39% protein. You read it; type, production and longevity are a part of the Jacoba's, just as their head and tail!
