3 Generations in one picture!

Theo van Vliet from Giessen Holsteins recently managed to take this great picture of 3 generations Charity’s and placed it on his Facebook page. The fresh born heifer-calf on the picture is Giessen Charity 161, sired by Montery. On the left you can see her dam Giessen Charity 101, a promising daughter of Golden Dreams, and on the right is granddam Giessen Charity 68 VG-88 (s. Struik) checking out her granddaughter. Next dam is Giessen Charity 51 VG-88, the Goldwyn dam to Giessen Charityman (s. Snowman) @ KI Kampen. This pedigree goes through an EX-91 Duplex and a VG-88 Stormatic back at former NRM Champion Charity 504 EX-94 (s. Starleader).

Charity influence at Giessen Holsteins

The influence from the Charity at Giessen Holsteins is huge. Over 25% of the herd hails from Charity 504. We restrict ourselves to this maternalline as the influence of Charity 51 will grow the upcoming years. The combination of Struik and Charity 51 looks already very successful. Two full sisters to Charity 68 (mentioned above), Giessen Charity 76 and Giessen Charity 77, are classified VG-89 and VG-87 respectively. And Charity 51 has more offspring sired by Bradnick, Bookem, Struik, Kingboy, Silver and Doorsopen. You read it; the influence from this great family will only increase!
