A very good classification at Molenkamp Holsteins earlier this week. 8 R&W 2-yr olds where classified with 85 points on average and their 12 B&W herdmates received 84.2 points. The herd at Molenkamp Holsteins averages now 85 points with the 52 R&W cows scoring 85.1 and the 80 B&W’s at 84.9.

The highest 2-yr old this classification was Molenkamp Grietje 166 Red. This Jotan daughter is classified VG-88 with the maximum score of 89 points for her mammary system. Her dam is Molenkamp Grietje 61 RDC VG-88, a Goldwyn daughter of Molenkamp Grietje 28 RDC VG-87 (Jocko), is a very popular show- and broodcow and also the dam to Molenkamp Jego @ CRV.
Grietje 166 was recently the reserve champion young cows (1st and 2nd calvers) at the Dairy Fair Mariënwaerdt and was the best 2-yr old at the show.
