Two reserve champions Barendonk Holsteins at NRM

Two cows owned by Barendonk Holsteins won reserve championship at the NRM this weekend. Fraiko dochter Barendonk Paulina 188 Red, the reserve junior champion of the HHH-Show, was named reserve junior champion at the NRM as well. The junior champion title went to Red Expression daughter Heerenbrink Dina 385 owned by the Steegink-van den Berg family of Okkenbroek. Honourable mention was Drouner AJDH Aiko 1288 Red, an Olympian daughter of Drouner Holsteins.
Among the final 6 was also Huntje Holstein Anemoon 147. This Ladd P daughter of Huntje Holstein was placed first in the youngest class with 2-yr olds. She was also one of the favorite’s to win this class according to the contenders of the GenHotel NRM Juding Competition.

Intermediate

Intermediate champion was M.H. Alana 5 (s. Amor) from Merwehoeve de Groot, Herwynen. In her class she placed over P.M. Elza 159, a Talentino daughter owned by the family Pinkert, Markelo. Elza 159 was named honourable mention and the reserve title went to Brook Marie 68, the first placed cow in the first intermediate class. Marie 68 is owned by Brook Holsteins.

Senior

The senior and grand champion title was captured by Plattery Princesse, also one of the favourites of the GenHotel NRM Judging Competition. The balanced but yet youthful Princesse got the most resistance of Barendonk Emma 220, a long and dairy Jotan daughter of Barendonk Holsteins. Emma 220 placed first in the first class with older cows and she was named reserve champion. The honourable mention was the powerful Jotan daughter Bossink Gerda 47 from the family Van der Kolk, Wierden.
