Javina's at Willem's Hoeve Holsteins

Photographer Alex Arkink visited Willem’s Hoeve Holsteins and pictured some cows and heifers. Below the results.

Javina

A family that is “gaining ground” at Willem’s Hoeve Holsteins is the De Biesheuvel Javina family from which the cows/heifers are in combined partnership with K&L. The first succesful purchase from this family was De Biesheuvel Javina 19 VG-88. After an intensive career as a flush cow she calved again in the end of 2014 at over 6 years of age. At the picture she is 7 years old and in her 2nd lactation. This very popular Bolton daughter did a great job as a broodcow and has several very interesting daughters and granddaughters. One of these daughters is Willem's Hoeve Javina 903 TY, a VG-87 classified Sudan daughter. Javina 907 is projected at 12.494 kg of milk with 3.49% protein. She is the dam to Willem's Hoeve Javina 1211, a +276 GNVI, +2377 GTPI and +147 GRZG Rocky daughter.

Javina 50

Because of the success they had with the Javina family Willem’s Hoeve Holsteins and K&L decided to invest in Balisto embryos out of De Biesheuvel Javina 50 VG-87 (Gofast x Javina 19). One of these embryos resulted in Willem's Hoeve Javina 1242. She is the current #3 GNVI at +349 GNVI. She also scores +2402 GTPI and +160 GRZG and is one of the most interesting heifers in Europe.
