Willem’s Hoeve Rita 670 named Barones van de Mariënwaerdt

The well-known Cricket daughter Willem's Hoeve Rita 670 is named "Barones van de Mariënwaerdt" (grand champion) at high quality local show in Beesd, the Netherlands. Rita 670 also claimed the very first “Barones title” in 2013, as a 2-yr old. This weekend she placed over herdmate Willem's Hoeve Rita 579, the “Barones” from 2014. From the 4 Barones van de Mariënwaerdt-titles, 3 where claimed by Willem’s Hoeve Holsteins.

Jack of all trades

Both Rita 670 and Rita 579 are well-known Dutch showcows. Rita 670 is, among others, the junior 2-yr old champion from the HHH-show 2013 and in 2015 she was named reserve intermediate champion and overall honorable mention at the HHH-show. Family- and herdmate Rita 579 is the junior 2-yr old champion from the NRM 2012.
Both tremendous cows hail from the great Rita family that is a “jack of all trades”. If it’s about high genomics, breeding proven bulls (see: 3 Willem’s Hoeve bulls in top 15 NVI) or showcows; the Rita family does it!

Molenkamp Holsteins

Molenkamp Holsteins also had a very successful day in Beesd. From the 4 junior cow classes 2 where won by Molenkamp Holsteins. Molenkamp Grietje 166 Red was named honourable mention. She is a Jotan daughter of Molenkamp Grietje 61 RDC, the full sister to the proven bull Molenkamp Andy RF.
The herdgroup of Molenkamp Holsteins placed first in their class. Just a little lack of uniformity resulted in the reserve champion title.
