The three red Elburn brothers Eragon, Red Mist and Elspe are the numbers 2, 3 and 6 for gRZG in Germany. Their full sister is Poppe Pietje 743 who is classified VG-85 last week.

The dam of these three bulls and Pietje 743 is the very succesfull brood cow Poppe Pietje 519-Red. She is also the dam of the popular sire of sons Snow RC (s. Snowman) and his full sister Poppe Pietje 721 RC.
Pietje 743, the Elburn, has also a full sister; Poppe Pietje 727 RC VG-85. And she has also a Secure Red half sister (Poppe Pietje 733 Red) that is the number 1 Secure Red in the Netherlands.
Milk
The cows from this maternal line of the Pietje family, that traces back to Huyben Pietje 514 VG-87, just want to make milk. In her second lactation Pietje 519 produced 15.762 kg of milk in 305 days. That is on average over 50 kg of milk / day. Her Elburn daughter, Pietje 743, is projected at almost 12.000 kg of milk (305 days) in her first lactation. She produced over 45 kg of milk / day with her first two tests.
The Elburn bulls out of Pietje 519 are also real "milkbulls. On German basis (red / white) Eragon has +1103 kg of milk, Red Mist +1456 kg and Elspe +1972 kg. Their half brother Snow RC, who is used as a sire of sons, has a breeding value of +1515 kg milk (Black / white base, Germany).
