Holbra Paulona, the next generation

The Holbra Paula family at Holbra Holsteins does a great job in the Netherlands and particular in the Holbra herd. But members of this family across Europe are doing very well. All because of the "breeding power this family has. One of the most popular daughters of Holbra Paula VG-87 (O Man x VG-88 Durham x EX-90 Rudolph x EX-95 Golden-Oaks Mark Prudence) is her Bolton daughter Holbra Paulona VG-85. Paulona has a lot of sons in AI and has also a big influence in the Holbra Herd.

As mentioned; the Prudence family breeds. Holbra Paulona is the 13th generation VG or EX and has several half sisters that perform well. In the Holbra herd are at this moment 10 milking daughters of Paulona. These daughters are sired by Radon (3x), Niagra (3x), Atwood (2x), Glen (1x) and Lauthority (1x). Their average production (2-yr old) is: 305d. 9.301kgM 4.26%F 3.53%P LW 109+ and they are classified VG-85 (average).

The next generation
In the future more (half) sisters will join them. At Holbra they have more daughters by Acme, Emerald, Gold Chip and Snowman of Paulona. The combination with Snowman was very succesfull and resulted in Holbra Sana and Holbra Lady Snow. Holbra Sana is the #10 GTPI Snowman in Europe and the #8 GNVI Snowman in the Netherlands. She has daughters by Massey, Supersire, Meridian and Mayfield. Her full sister Holbra Lady Snow, is sold to Bouw Holsteins through the K&L Selection Sale and has daughters by Headliner. You can see; the next generation of the Paula/Paulona family will have their influence aswell.
