Fancy progenygroups Snow Peak and Julandy at RUW Schau

At the RUW Schau in Hamm (Germany) very fancy daughtergroups where shown of Visstein Snow Peak and Julandy. Traditionally the breeders of these bulls, Visstein Holsteins and Werler Holsteins, where put in the spotlight by AI-organisation RUW.

Snow Peak

Visstein Snow Peak is a Snowman of Visstein Hanecy VG-86, a Win 395 daughter out of the Etazon Annecy family. Snow Peak showed 8 very correct, nicely balanced daughters that look like they milk very well. Partly duo too very good udders and feet & legs they looked like they could handle their high productions very well.

Julandy

Julandy, a Molenkamp Andy son of Julia 389 VG-86 (Moonlight x Julia 382 EX-92), showed a very fancy daughtergroup as well. Long 2-yr olds with a great dairystrength. You could clearly see the influence of the Julia family in their depth of chest. The Julandy daughters handled themselves very well in the ring on a great set of feet & legs and they showed shallow, very high attached mammary systems.
According to Jan Steegink, one of the Dutch members of the European Judges Panel, the group of Julandy was "one of the best progenygroups he had seen for quite some time!".

The granddam to Julandy, Julia 382 EX-92, is the dam to the Lawn Boy sons Lowland Bolero, Lowlands Juwel P and Red Cliff in the Netherlands. Last mentioned showed a very good progenygroup during the Open Days of KI Kampen earlier this year.
