The two “old ladies”, and we say that with respect, are enjoying a well-earned rest in the sunshine at Heja Holsteins. The B&W cow is Veneriete Ida O VG-86, almost 11 years old, and the R&W cow is All-star Jotan Bella EX-92, over 8 years of age.

Butemare Veneriete Ida O VG-86 is the broodcow of an impressive cowfamily. She is among others the dam to the popular Shottle daughter Veneriete Shottle Ida 6 VG-88. High genomic bulls such as Veneriete RUW Board (Boss x Veneriete Epic Ida 66) and Veneriete Ibiza (Sundance x Veneriete Bookem Ida 57) are breed from this family by Veneriete Holsteins.
Ida O is also a very good broodcow for Heja Holsteins. Her Big Time daughter, Beeze Idao 1 VG-86, turns out to be a very good broodcow for Beeze Holsteins. In the herd of Heja Holsteins it is her Sam daughter Ank Kiss Idasa RF VG-85 that is producing very well with high protein.

Just like Ida O, All-Star Jotan Bella EX-92 is also used to create a new cowfamily at Heja Holsteins. She has pregnancies by Honeybee, Jedi and AltaSuperstar. Bella also has 3 heifers by O Kalif.
A Ladd P daughter of Bella, WR Beyonce, was named champion young cows at the RUW-Schau last year and is nominated for the European Championship in Colmar.
