Big Boukje 239 grand champion in Saasveld
The winning herd group of Big Holsteins
At a local show in Saasveld (East of the Netherlands) the grand champion title was won by Big Boukje 239. The black/white Stadel daughter owned by Big Holsteins calved over a month ago at an age of 10 years for the 6th time and looked very nice. She is now also classified EX-90 (91 FR 93 DS 90 Ui 87 FL). Her lifetime total is over 88.000 kg of milk (with high components) and she is the dam to Big Boukje 305. This Andy daughter is the reserve 2-yr old champion from the HHH-Show 2014.

With a total of 10 cows present Big Holsteins was one of the biggest exhibitors of the show. 8 of these 10 cows placed in the top three of their class. Eventually a Danillo 2-yr old was named honourable mention, Big Bonnie 20 (Cricket) took home the intermediate reserve champion title and Big Boukje 265 (Shottle) was named honourable mention senior cows. And to crown it all the herd group of Big Holsteins was named champion as well.
