Two years ago Henk van Benthem bought a pregnant red heifer from the German breeder Thomas Wiethege. This heifer, named Beyonce turned out to be the highest producing 2-year-old of The Netherlands! Beyonce is a Wit Aros daughter out of Snow RF x VG-89 Lawn Boy. Her pedigree delivers high milkproduction as well as showtype.
Beyonce produced 22.707kg milk with 3,14% fat and 3,33% protein in 462 days in her first lactation. Last July she started her second lactation and at this moment she is producing over 40kg of milk a day. Her first lactation classification was VG-85, recently she scored VG-86 in her second lactation with 89 for type!
