#3 GNVI Bacchus Picanto

Foreign bulls of AI organizations that are a member of Eurogenomics received their first index in other countries in April 2014. One of the highest bulls in the Dutch GNVI list is the Dutch-German bull Bacchus Picanto. He is the #3 GNVI bull with +323 GNVI. Picanto is bred by Bacchus Holsteins of the Van den Braak family. He was sold to WEU because of a high genomic test in Germany and turns out to be one of the highest genomic bulls in the Netherlands as well. Picanto is still the number 1 Snowman son in Germany at +148 GRZG.

Full sister
In the herd of Bacchus Holsteins a full sister to Picanto is a real eye-catcher. This Bacchus Pepper 7 is fresh for about two month now and looks awesome. She is producing over 40 kg of milk and is a faultless heifer. She will be classified soon.
The dam of Picanto and Pepper 7 is Excellence Mac Melissa VG-86. She is a Mac daughter from a EX-90 Shottle out of a EX-90 Durham of Glenn-Ann Miss Pepperdine VG-89, the dam of Glenn-Ann Palermo. Melissa is projected at 11.060 kg of milk with 3.85% fat and 3.48% protein in her second lactation.
